Weapons possession

A 48-year-old Bridgeport woman faces weapons charges after an incident at Honeyspot Motor Inn.

Lisa M. Brelsford of Kossuth Street was charged with failure to carry a pistol permit and criminal possession of a pistol or revolver after police said she was banging on a door at the inn, allegedly intoxicated.

Police said she was carrying an old French riot control gun used to fire rubber bullets, which she allegedly attempted to hide prior to the arrival of officers. She did not have ammunition for the weapon, according to police.

Brelsford was arrested on a warrant April 1, police said.

Threatening and assault

Ervin Ezekiel, 29, of Stuben Street in Bridgeport, was arrested April 3 on a warrant related to a Jan. 25 domestic violence incident.

Ezekiel was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, threatening, first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police said he left the scene prior to their arrival Jan. 25.

Bond was $30,000 for court April 3.

Family violence

Eugene Taylor of Bates Street was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault March 31 after he allegedly punched his daughter.

She left the house without further incident, police said.
