Senator Kevin Kelly (R-Stratford) released the following statement regarding the death of Miller.

“My heart goes out to the family of State Representative Larry Miller. Larry was a incredible person who dedicated himself to serving our community. He brought the voice of local citizens to the State Capitol for over 20 years and always fought adamantly to improve Connecticut for all people.

“Most recently Larry led the state in recognizing Connecticut as first in flight. His efforts resulted in the passage of a resolution this year that celebrates our state’s innovative accomplishments in aviation. This legislation is now part of Larry’s legacy – a legacy that will inspire many.

“We lost not only a great legislator, but also a great person. Larry will be missed by all.”
