David Francis Kecko
David Francis Kecko, 54, of Stratford, son of Francis and Mary Lou Hogan Kecko, died Jan. 30.
He was born Dec. 23, 1957 in New Haven and grew up in the Devon section of Milford
Mr. Kecko was a graduate of St. Ann’s Elementary School, Fairfield College Preparatory School and attended the University of Arizona. He became a skilled mechanical contractor and worked successfully for many years, his family said.
Besides his parents, survivors include his sisters, Leslie Beard and her husband, Dan of Shelton, Elizabeth VanTine and her husband, Richard of Shelton; his niece, Emily Beard; nephews, Benjamin and Alexander VanTine; aunts and uncles, Margaret Craw, Ruth (Fred) Lorensen, Joan (James) Staffaroni, companion; Shana Clark; several cousins; his children, Mark Kecko (Julia) of Oxford, Amanda and Samantha Kecko of Milford; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Chase Kecko.
He was predeceased by his uncle, Elmer Craw and cousin, John Craw.
Services are Tuesday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m., St. Ann’s Church, Milford. Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home handled arrangements.
