‘Festival! Stratford’ planning begins Feb. 9 at Town Hall
An informational meeting for those interested in volunteering at “Festival! Stratford 2012” will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
Final totals and audience feedback will be shared, and committee descriptions and needs will be revealed. The committee is seeking volunteers for the mid-August event to assist with communications, volunteer coordination, staffing, vending, ushering, parking management, donations/raffle and main stage support.
Citing the success of the 2011 festival, organizers are expecting an increased need for community and volunteer involvement. The 2-week festival will include theater and music performances, art exhibits, children’s shows and so much more on the grounds of the American Festival (Shakespeare) Theatre.
