Stratford climbs back over .500 mark
Marcus Vereen scored 20 points, including 13 in the first half, to lead the Stratford High boys basketball team past Joel Barlow-Redding, 67-47, on Friday night at Needham Gymnasium in an SWC contest.
Kinshawn Pettway chipped in with 14 points and Bernard Brantley added 11 for the Red Devils, who improved to 7-6 (5-3 in the SWC).
Joey Greenspan had 18 points for Barlow (6-8).
