Bridgeport Hospital Home Run 5k
Tenth annual Bridgeport Hospital Home Run Sunday, May 26, 9 a.m., beginning and ending at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard, 500 Main Street, Bridgeport. Indluces 5K run, walk and wheelchair race, alternate one-mile course and a Children’s Fun Run inside the ballpark. Advance registration for adults is $20 until May 22; $25 after May 22; $10 for students 18 and under through race day; $5 for Children’s Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the Joel E. Catholic Daughters meeting
Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Cecelia #735 will conduct their monthly meeting Tuesday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m., at Sterling House Community Center, 2283 Main Street.

Stratford Historical Society presents Exploring Historical Topics, a summer history camp for elementary (grades 5-6) and middle and high school students, July 22-26, 9-noon. Historical society seeks vendors
The Stratford Historical Society is looking for vendors for its Ice Cream Social slated Sunday, Sept. 8, from noon to 4 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 15.
Children friendly booths that offer children a chance to create a craft and booths that would be of interest to adults are wanted.

Vendors sought for Fall Fest to Benefit Animals
The Stratford Animal Rescue Society is looking for vendors and sponsors of all types for their annual “Fall Festival To Benefit Animals” on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Paradise Green in Stratford.
The festival includes a one-mile dog walk, food, contests, canine demonstrations, games, music, local celebrities, entertainment, pet adoptions, a silent auction, vendors for people and pets and more.
