Alexander Technique exercise program
Five-week exercise program runs Mondays, April 22-May 20 at 9 a.m., Baldwin Library. Program offers a way out of poor posture, fatigue and pain, and is recommended for anyone who would like to stand, sit and move with less strain or discomfort. Open to public; $15 series; $3/class, 203-385-4055.

Lifelong Learners host talk
“Rosie the Riveter,” presented by local historian, Arthur N. Gottlieb, LCSW, CSA Tuesday, May 21, 12:30. During World War II women’s role in the industrial workforce was instrumental in the overall victory by allied forces. Challenging traditional roles, this phenomenon embodies the continuing struggle of women for acceptance as equal players in the workforce and society.
