Car wash Saturday benefits students

Bunnell High School’s Future Business Leaders of America is sponsoring a car wash this Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Huntington Road Fire Station at 1415 Huntington Road. The suggested donation is $5 for a car wash, though other amounts will be accepted. The event is a fund-raiser for the group. The Stratford Cat Project hosts a cat and kitten adoption and food drive at Baldwin’s Corner Adoption Center in H-3 Pet Supply, 475 Hawley Lane, Saturday, Sept. 20, 11-3. Ukrainian festival slated

Children with an interest in creative writing are invited to join Aspiring Authors in the Stratford Library Children’s Department.
