Treasures, Treats and Trinkets Fair

The Town of Stratford’s 375th birthday will be honored at The Stratford Women’s Club 27th annual Treasures, Treats & Trinkets Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 2600 Main St., rain or shine. Admission for this indoor fair is free. Vendors are invited to participate that Saturday with individual display spaces for just $30 each. Those interested in taking a space, call 203 378-6176.

Cat adoption and food drive event

Hosted by Stratford Cat Project Saturday, Nov. 1, 11-3, Baldwin’s Corner Adoption Center in H-3 Pet Supply, 475 Hawley Lane. Cat and dog food donations are needed for the Stratford Cat Project and to help stock food pantries of the Sterling House and SCP food bank for the needy. Baked goods, raffle basket. Anyone who brings a cat or dog food donation will receive a free raffle ticket. Information: 203-375-7009.

35th Cavalcade of Bands show

Presented by Bunnell/Stratford High Marching Band & Guard Parents Association Saturday, Nov. 1, 3 p.m., doors open at 2, Bunnell High School Field, 1 Bulldog Boulevard. Food will be available for purchase.   Tickets, at $10 adults, $8 seniors and students (K-12), children under 5 are free, available at the gate. Laughter therapy

Make holiday cards for U.S. soldiers

Children are invited to decorate holiday cards for soldiers Nov. 3-8. Cards will be sent to U.S. soldiers (as well as other branches of the armed forces) serving abroad. Children and families may stop by anytime the Library is open. Girl Scout Troop 37163 will host a special card decorating event Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1:30-2:30.
