Church Women United of Greater Bridgeport will celebrate World Day of Prayer Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
The theme, prepared by the women of France, is “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” During worship, a representative from the International Institute of Connecticut located in Bridgeport, will speak.
Those attending are asked to bring a sandwich; dessert and beverages will be served by the host church.
