Stratford Girl Scout Juliette Troop #08313 will host a benefit cookie booth Sunday, March 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Stratford Academy, Johnson House School parking lot, 719 Birdseye Street.
The Troop proceeds .75 cents per box will be donated to the “Girl Scout Sandy Hook Campership Fund” in memory of the eight Daisy Girl Scouts who passed away in the Newtown, Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting.
This fund will help girls who may not be able to afford summer camp, to attend and will be designated for programs based on activities that each girl loved, such as horseback riding, theater, and animal care.
