Pass the Amendment. Start the conversation on early voting

On Nov. 4, voters can vote on this ballot question to amend the state constitution:
Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to remove restrictions concerning absentee ballots and to permit a person to vote without appearing at a polling place on the day of an election?

This year, there is a single Constitutional Amendment question at the end of the Connecticut ballot. Its purpose is to improve voter turnout by removing impediments that often discourage and deter eligible voters from voting.
