Oversight hurts non-Christians

Mayor Harkins, how come in a public building at the public lighting event there was no acknowledging Chanukah or Kwanzaa, which are both in December beside Christmas?


The mayor appears authoritarian

An editorial in last week’s Star, titled “Explaining WPCA,” hits the nail on the head. It tells us that the mayor keeps his plan for the water treatment plant “under wraps,” hidden not only from the public, but also from our councilmen who will be asked to vote on this very secret plan.
