Mesavage at her best in swan song

Julie Mesavage of Stratford competed in eight events and posted eight personal best times in her final collegiate meet at the Pacific Coast swimming and diving championships held at La Mirada Pool in Los Angeles.
A senior captain, Mesavage swims for the University of California Santa Cruz Banana Slugs and helped her team to a ninth-place finish.
A former All-Stater and team captain out of Bunnell High, Mesavage began swimming with the Stratford Y Sea Dogs and the Westport Water Wrats.
