School roofs being inspected

Roofs of all Stratford public schools are being assessed and as of Wednesday mid-afternoon there are no reports of any structural damage from snow or any other cause, according to Stratford Public Schools Interim Supt. Margaret Lasek.
The inspection of the schools discovered that a water pipe in the ceiling above a classroom at Stratford High School was found leaking, reported Lasek.  Because the leak was not found immediately while schools have been closed, there is damage to the floor of three classrooms.  Ceiling tiles and cabinets also were damaged.
Repairs are underway, according to Lasek.
