Red Devils team up to defeat Amistad

The Stratford High girls basketball team defeated Amistad Academy of New Haven, 42-15, at the Ray Needham Gymnasium on Wednesday.
Jamie Russo led a balanced scoring attack, as the Red Devils improved to 3-14.
Aneeka Scott-Gray, Danielle Lapierre and Genesis Torres scored seven points each.
Stratford bolstered an 8-5 lead with runs twin runs of 11-2 in the middle two periods.
Amaris Woodson and Margaux Mahoney scored four points each and Bernice Ausgustin had three. and Destani Brantley two.
