Free Alzheimer’s disease public education program

If you’ve ever worked with a friend or family member who has Alzheimer’s or another type of dementia, you may have observed that not everyone you encounter in public understands the disease as well as you do.

To make the community more “friendly” to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, the Home Instead Senior Care®network recently launched the free 30 minute Alzheimer’s Friendly Business public education program.

Home Instead Senior Care offices throughout the network are training local businesses and organizations on how to best work with and communicate with those who have Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

Free training will help educate organizational staff members, business owners and their managers and staff so that they have the tools to welcome family caregivers who may otherwise be reluctant to take their loved ones into public places.

To schedule a free 30-minute Alzheimer’s Friendly Business Class on-site at your business or organization contact [email protected], 203-386-1151

Each Home Instead Senior Care franchise office is independently owned and operated.
