Rankin tallies 21 in win over Weston

The Stratford High boys basketball team posted a 56-54 road victory over Weston High on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils (7-5) led 12-10 after one period, 28-27 at the half, and 44-40 after three quarters.
Eric Rankin scored 21 points and Evan Velleca knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 11.
Bernard Brantley returned to the court for the first time since Jan. 5 and scored seven points.
Weston (6-7) was led by Erik Dammen-Brower with 18 points.
