The visiting Masuk High girls basketball team beat Bunnell High, 59-58, on Friday night in a South-West Conference matchup between two teams fighting to qualify for the state tournament.
Jess Bogdwicz had a chance to win it at the buzzer for the Bulldogs, but her runner from the elbow was off target. The junior guard scored a game-high 24 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Erin Koletar added 12 points and Lauryn Kostopolous 11 for Bunnell, which dropped to 5-10 overall.
Jamie Madden paced Masuk (6-9) with 13 points, while Jana Migliaro chipped in with 10. Taylor Iorfino and Thomese Holman came off the bench to score eight points each for the Panthers.
