Bunnell loses to New Milford

The Bunnell High girls basketball team fell to New Milford, 54-43, in South-West Conference action in Stratford on Saturday.
Jess Bodgwicz scored 15 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs (5-8, 3-5 SWC) against the Green Wave (7-6, 6-2).
Erin Koletar had 13 points, Lauryn Kostopoulos six and Deja Fonseca five.
Bunnell took a 15-11 lead after one period, but trailed 25-24 at the half.
New Milford won the third quarter by a 12-4 margin and edged the locals 17-15 in the final stanza.
Bunnell lost to unbeaten Pomperaug High of Southbury, 62-38, on Friday.
Bogdwicz scored 12 points, Kostopoulos 10 and Koletar eight against the Panthers (13-0).
