Firefighters limited damage in a kitchen fire shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at 466 Columbus Ave.
Engines 1, 2 and 3, Ladder 1, TAC 5 and Car 3 responded to reports of an active kitchen fire with furniture and plastic on fire.
Smoke was visible when the on-duty assistant chief arrived.
Engine 1 knocked down the fire with “minimal damage to the structure,” according to a Facebook post from Stratford Fire Department IAFF Local 998.
No injuries were reported.
