Jim H. Love, age 84, of Monroe, CT died on January 10, 2013.
Born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, he was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, serving in the Air Force and Air National Guard for 18 years. He retired in 1995 after 31 years as a Maintainability Engineer for aircraft engine manufacturer Avco Lycoming in Stratford, CT.
He is survived by his beloved wife, of 61 years, Rose Bagnoli Love, seven children and their spouses; Vincent and Mimi Love, Rhea and Jeff Doran, Francesca and Joseph Lacerenza, Rosanna Love, Regina Love, James Hogan and Beth Love, Philip and Pam Love, seventeen grandchildren; Anna, Emerson, Bryce, Phoebe, Christopher, Arielle, Caroline, James, Victoria, Johanna, Michael, Peter, Nicholas, Jessica, Matthew, Clara and Griffin, and two great-grandchildren; Luna and Stella, his brother, Ben F. Love and his wife, Jenny, 3 nephews, 2 nieces and several grand nephews and nieces.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Directly at St. Jude’s Church 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, CT. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
