Stratford Police have taken four people into custody Tuesday, Jan. 8, after reports they were carrying weapons in the woods near Wooster Middle School shortly after noon.
Doing It Local reported that the four people were detained around 12:30 p.m.
The school was placed under lockdown as police responded to the Lincoln Street area.
A vehicle was reportedly towed from the area to police headquarters for investigation.
The lockdown was lifted around 12:50 p.m., but police are reportedly remaining at the school until dismissal.
