Bunnell defeats Stratford

Jess Bogdwicz scored 20 points and the Bunnell High girls basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat visiting Stratford High, 79-40, on Friday.
Erin Koletar scored 17 points, Lauryn Kostopoulos 15, Bianca Burgos 10 and Caitlyn Carrafiello nine for the Lady Bulldogs, who took a 26-10 lead after one quarter.
Bogdwicz added six assists and five steals, as Bunnell improved to 3-5.
Julia Genetti and Aimee Sportini scored seven points each for Stratford.
Margaux Mahoney had six points, Anikka Scott-Gray five, Amaris Woodson five and Jamie Russo four.
