Mentor program for high school students

The Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program is currently recruiting Stratford high school students interested in learning more about careers in architecture, construction and engineering. The mentors for this after-school activity include professional architects, engineers and construction managers who volunteer to mentor high school students about the building design and construction industry.

Some of the businesses that are involved in ACE include: Antinozzi Associates, Turner Construction, Gilbane Company, Fletcher Thompson, Environmental Engineering, Inc., DiBlasi Associates, P.C., United Concrete Products, DeStefano and Chamberlain, Inc., Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners, and ENCON Inc.To learn more about this program plan to attend an informational session at either of the following locations.

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 6-7 p.m., at Trumbull High School auditorium; or Thursday, Sept. 26, 6-7 p.m., at Bunnell High School Media Center, in Stratford.

The program is also recruiting new mentors for the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of ACE.
